Quick trip to Ohio

Valentine's weekend we took a four day trip up to Ohio to visit.

It just so happened to be Autumn's birthday that weekend too, so we had a little party for her. Jeremy's sister, Monique, birthday is the day after Autumn's so they actually were able to celebrate together this year!

The birthday girls: One of the benefits of having a birthday close to Mardi Gras, a birthday King cake! Presents time: Thank you for everything! Autumn had a great birthday and we had a great trip! We were really glad to be able to see everyone again!

Winter Weather!

The new running theme of my blog: I am horribly behind on updating it! I think I say it almost every post now. I am trying to get better at it!

Anyhow, almost two weeks ago now we had more snow! It's the first time in the 3 years we've lived here that we actually had 2 decent snow storms!

So we made some snowmen! This one we made all together: Then the kids made some by themselves:

We did our Valentine's Day early because we took a little trip to visit family in Ohio. This year we let the kids pick out a little gifts to exchange.

Dominic got a Transformer puzzle and Autumn got a Tinkerbell toy. How well they know each other!

Winter Wonderland!

We actually got some snow! And not just a dusting this time, but 4 inches! I think I was more excited than the kids =] The kids helped clean off Mommies car:

Made some snow angels: And did some sledding: On a separate note, Congrats to the Saints (and Saints fans) for winning the super bowl! We celebrated with some Who Dat inspired M&M cookie bar. We were so ready to eat it up I didn't even think to get the picture before we cut into it :)
