Summer school
Autumn had her week of summer school first and she chose the Music class. They made a couple instruments through out the week and on the last day they had a little concert:
Dominic then had his and he chose the Transportation class. They learned about all different types of transortation and made these awesome cars:
Then everyone went outside to check out some different vehicles that had come. These two were Dominic's favorite:
Jeremy, Professional Fisherman =)
Well, Jeremy does dream sometimes that was his job and for one day he was able to pretend it was =) He got the opportunity to fish with a professional fisherman in his boat for a Wounded Warriors tournament. We were able to get front row standing to the weigh-in:
The kids were enthralled:
They caught 4 fish and weighed a total of 15.3 lbs. They came in 5th place. One of their fish at the weigh station:

Where has Summer gone?
I can't believe Summer is close to being over. It started out slow, but definately is going by now. So lets play catch-up =)
We were able to get a cute family picture:
Had some visitors over 4th of July weekend! The kids posing with their cousins in their Patriotic attire =)
Lots and Lots of fun in the sun (and in the water)
And we took the little munchkins to Chuck-E-Cheese:
There are many, many more pictures I could put up but I dont want to bore anyone with almost two months worth of pictures in one post. That just wouldn't be any fun for anyone =)

Take me out to the ballgame!
Memorial Day we took the kids to their first baseball game! Nashville has a team called the Sounds. The kids LOVED it!It was super hot that day, but the kids intently watched every inning! We were pleasantly surprised at how into it they actually got!
Our seats were awesome, right behind home plate!
They were also very excited to meet Ozzie:
the mascot. We were unable to get a picture of them with him (because Mommy wasn't quick enough with the camera), but they screamed his name until he came up to our seats and gave them hugs and high-fives.

A trip to the zoo
Jeremy actually had a week day off so we decided to take the kids up to the Nashville zoo for the day! They took the lead with their zoo maps:
Brushed the goats in the petting zoo area:
Posed for a few pictures:
We had a great time! Especially since it was a beautiful day and there were no crowds to fight!

Camping Trip
Last week we decided to go camping near Land Between the Lakes. We luckily ended up with a site right on the water:
The kids got to do a little biking:
Played in the water:
And did some fishing. The girls caught nothing, the boys on the other hand did very well.
Dominic even caught a little snapping turtle! And aside from the 4 foot long Cotton mouth and 9 or 10 copperhead snakes that made me freak-out every time I saw them, we all had a great time!

Lazy Saturday Afternoon
Jeremy's brother, Jason, and his family (his wife, Heather, and two kids, Xander and Jordis) came down Easter weekend to visit. So Saturday we went to Lake Barkley for a picnic and some fishing
Such a girlie girl =]
Poor Dominic did not feel well that day, but was determined to go fishing. He fished for about 20 minutes and was passed out in this chair the rest of the time.
