Grand Ole Opry

Jeremy and I decided that after living here for 4 years we had to make sure we made it to the Grand Ole Opry before we leave. We had a great time! Riders In The Sky Pam Tillis Craig Campbell "Family Man" Diamond Rio There were a few other singers there that night to, but we didnt really know who they were. And we ended up with a good picture of the two of us: On another note, Autumn had a project due for school this week. She had to make a bug, so this is her take on a lady bug =) And... Jeremy built Dominic a new dresser: He did an awesome job! And Dominic loves it!

Oy!

Time just seems to be flying by! I can not believe that March is almost over! We haven't been up to much this past month but Dominic has had a few exciting events. He had a school concert: He also had to make a Leprechaun trap as a project for school: No leprechauns yet, which unfortunately is still the first question he asks every morning. And he moves the trap to a new part of the house every night. Also.... My Daffodils finally opened!!! So excited that they came back this year and I haven't managed to kill them yet. Happy Birthday Autumn!

Autumn and I made cupcakes for her to take into school the day before her birthday, but school ended up being canceled due to snow. So she spent part of the day with daddy at work and took the cupcakes to them =) She wanted a Lemon Merigne (Strawberry Shortcake's friend) cake: She also wanted to have a costume party! I said numerous times how I needed to get a picture with all the kids together in costume, but unfortunately I forgot. We played a balloon game and pin the lemon on Lemon Merigne: Opened presents: Ate some cake! And after all that fun, Autumn managed to play with ALL her new toys at once =) Thanks to everyone who came to Autumn's Birthday! She had so much fun! And I can not believe my baby is 4 years old!!

A blizzard!

Well, for Tennesse it was ! We got 5 inches of snow yesterday! We all had so much fun playing in it too =) We went sledding for awhile and then Dominic wanted to make a snowman when we got back to the house.

New Years

We had a very uneventful New Years Eve. We were going to let the kids attempt to stay up and watch the ball drop, but neither of them made it. But we did eat some snacks and play board games until they went to bed. We got a few pictures in!

Christmas

Ok, so it only took me a month and a half, but here are some pictures from Christmas =) Cookies and milk for Santa! New Christmas Eve Pj's Listening to Night Before Christmas from Nana and Pop-Pop Christmas morning, opening presents! All dressed up for church!

Winter fun

We were lucky enough to get some snow this Christmas!And the kids were more than happy to play in it! We also made a gingerbread house: And got a hike in a day we were all home: Can't believe Christmas is over and January is on it's way! Pictures from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will be up soon!

Christmas lights!

This year we went down to see the lighting of the Christmas lights on the Riverwalk. They had a band singing Christmas songs and then the mayor and Santa flipped the switch to the lights. The kids also got to see Kris Kringle, his penguin friend and the Channel 4 (alocal news station) Snowbird: We then walked the riverwalk to check out the lights: And got to take a picture with Santa!

Some Thanksgiving fun!

Dominic had a Thanksgiving celebration at his school. They made Indian headbands and necklaces, learned a few songs and ate a turkey dinner! He did a great job!

Halloween!

We woke up and had some Pumpkin Pancakes for breakfast! And Mummies for supper: The kids were all ready for some Trick or Treating! And they sure made out pretty good this year! Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!!!
